Michael S. Berk

Michael S. Berk is a Managing Director at TA Associates and co-head of the firm's North America Services Group, where he focuses on investments across business and financial services companies. Since joining TA in 2004, Michael has built more than 25 years of private equity experience, sponsoring 20 TA investments totaling more than $2 billion and helping portfolio companies complete more than 25 add-on acquisitions. He chairs TA's Portfolio Committee and also serves on the firm's Management and Core Investment Committees.

Michael currently represents TA on the board of Too Lost and several other companies, including Benecon, Fisher Funds, Gong cha, LeadsOnline, OMNIA Partners, PTMA Financial Solutions, The Forge Companies, TouchTunes, and Yarra Capital Management. His experience spans founder-led growth businesses, financial services platforms, business services, consumer brands, and technology-enabled services.

Prior to TA, Michael was a Senior Vice President at Joseph Littlejohn & Levy and an Associate at Frontenac Company.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School, and an AB magna cum laude in East Asian Studies from Harvard College. He also serves on the boards of the American Investment Council, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, HBS Alumni Board, and Harvard Cooperative Society.
